There is an epidemic of violence in Ontario hospitals.  But while the great majority of front line workers have experienced physical, sexual or verbal abuse, management plays down the problem and discourages staff from even reporting incidents. CUPE/OCHU decided enough was enough and it was time to call them out. The depiction of violence is very graphic, but it’s no different than what happens every day.
